Charlotte, update and final status

Well, I finally got my answer about Charlotte. Whoever played this persona knew how to make it seem convincing.

We continued to talk but she ran into a situation where she supposedly won a huge interior design contract in UAE, worth about $800,000, but she had to head over to the country in a week or so. Of course, she didn't have the money and asked me for several thousand dollars on a loan to help her out. I might have tried to help her out more if I had the money in the first place, but my suspicions were on alert. I continued to tell her I didn't have money for more than a week when she started getting pushy about it. Things were not clicking any further and she said she wanted at least $2000 or she would be really mad... so I blocked her.

No, that's not the end of the story. A couple of days later, I got texts from several different phone numbers exposing my Facebook friends and a few nudes I shared with her. I swear, I only ever shared with two women... and they were both sextortion scammers (take notes here kids). I not only blocked those numbers, but I changed my Google Voice numbers and haven't heard from her again (yet). Oh, and I do not know the entire connection, but I think "she" is somehow related to Godsman Omeire from Lithuania, an IT specialist originally from Nigeria. He is the one that Charlotte had me send the previous payment to, so I know he is somehow involved. 

I know I won't see any money returned, but I have enough information that I submitted a cyber crime complaint at the FBIs IC3 center. But I believe maybe online relationships may be doomed at this point.

Peggy

Peggy is one of the women I met from Skype and the only one I continued to talk with after the week I tried to make sense out of the bombardment of chat requests there so we finally moved over to Google Chat. Peggy was sweet, funny, and very entertaining. She was not overly aggressive about a relationship and liked to just chat about our days. I found her completely realistic and genuine. She shared a dozen or more photos of her days, claiming she was an exercise personal trainer at a nearby gym. We talked a lot about my efforts to improve my health and fitness.
